Blacklisted Burger – IDR 69K Stack of 100% ground Australian beef patty, beef bacon, melted mozzarella & onion rings on homemade charcoal bun, served with coleslaw & potato wedges. One of the best burgers in Jakarta. A masterpiece.
Karaka-Men Special – IDR 99K IPPUDO’s original tonkotsu broth with special spicy miso, cashew nuts, bean sprouts & ground pork. All “special” versions include salted soft-boiled egg, pork belly & seaweed. Strong miso taste, which I liked, but the broth could’ve been thicker as in the real Hakata ramen.
My living room definitely doesn’t look like this! It’s a daylight heaven. You’re sitting under a glass roof that can be a blessing or disaster. If it’s sunny it can get hot very quickly, not in a good sense. If the sum cooperates, this place is unbeatable.
Taiwanese Dessert: Q-Ball, Pudding, Mochi, Pearl #16 – IDR 38K They ran out of Q-Ball which is the star of this dish and it was replaced by Mixed Fruit. Very refreshing combination, although with Q-Ball it’d have been much better by a long shot. I’m delighted that Taiwanese desserts finally made it to the South. A must-try.
Toowoomba Topped Sirloin – IDR 269.9K Loved everything about it: medium-cooked steak covered with shrimps, mushrooms, and tomato sauce, then paired with steamed veggies and superb garlic mashed potatoes that make you crave for more. Well done!
Longan Crush – IDR 48K Black sugar, Chinese red date, red bean, green bean, peanut, kidney bean, and condensed milk. Quite a refreshing combination, I must say.
Stuffed Mussels – IDR 35K Deep-fried breaded mussels in the shell then stuffed with aromatic minced chicken breast. Served with homemade tomato sauce & basil-pesto oil. A must-try.
