I am not a vegetarian, but it’s surprisingly hard not to like this dish. If you buy this with the following Gourmet Salad, you can get them both for $13 instead of $16. That’s almost 20% off!

They give you about 3-4 salad choices. I chose this because it looked colorful and refreshing. And yes it was. This Cilantro-Bean Salad left an everlasting memory in my mind as the best dish among everything else in this post.

The skin was quite crispy but not enough. They’ve got to learn from the Chinese or Balinese when it comes to crispy pork.

I wish the meat were more tender.
Then we moved on to IKEA’s Signature Dish: 15 meatballs (KÖTTBULLAR) served with mashed potatoes, cream sauce (GRÄDDSÅS) and lingonberries (SYLT LINGON). The red sauce is made from lingonberries, IKEA’s Signature Sauce. Lingonberries grow wild in many ancient forests throughout the Northern hemisphere (Cool, eh?). Best served with meatballs, on crispbread or toast, or with pancakes, ice-cream, yogurt or cereals. You can buy a jar of Lingonberry Jam (400 gr) for $4.49. Not bad but I’d still put my money on Cranberry Jam.

An almond-based cake covered with butter cream and decorated with roasted almond sticks. Thin, compact, sweet, gluten-free and packs a punch! A must-try.

Just like a canteen, they serve you very quickly and efficiently. It’s indeed the Swedish system. When we visited it was not lunch hour yet but there were already a lot of customers ranging from families, office workers, and students. They only opened one lane since almost everyone was seated already. Kudos to them in giving a fast and efficient service.

Wanna try them all?
